ABOUT ME
Welcome to my professional portfolio! I am a Training & Development & Employee Engagement Professional by day, an entrepreneur by night, as well as a choir director. Having a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Business Administration, I have grown to become passionate about equipping my clients with the tools to be more productive, successful, and enjoy a better quality of life. I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Industrial & Organizational Psychology as I progress in the field of Learning & Development.
I am the Founder and CEO of JUNURI, a company that equips students, professionals, and business owners, with the tools and resources to be successful in the different areas of their lives. I am also the Co-Founder, Chief Business Development Officer, and Chief Learning Officer of Vwazen, a learning management system which works to meet the language learning needs of Haitian Creole speakers and learners.
In November of 2019, I authored and published Sharing My Lens: The College Experience, in which I share some of the gems that I learned about college. Given my personal, professional, and academic experiences, I am intentional about being an agent of motivation, inspiration, and encouragement to the world around me.

"Sharing My Lens: The College Experience" Reviews
This book is a recipe for success for students going to college, as well as those in college. It’s a good guideline and manual for people looking for jobs. Every school, family, guidance counselor, and educator should have a book like this. Not only is it a recipe for success, but it’s a motivational guide to keep people focused, and self-aware. After reading this book, you’ll be prepared to face the different aspects of college life. The book is appetizing because the moment you start reading it, you have no desire to stop until the end.
This is an excellent guide for high school and college students. It provides a breakdown of straight forward and useful information to prepare one’s self for higher education. I wish I had something like this in high school!
Sharing My Lens: The College Experience by Juliette Nelson is a great book. It amazed me to see how much thought the author put into this book. Some of the things she talked about in the book made me ask the question, ”Why wasn’t this book written before I started college?” I am happy that this book is available and would definitely recommend it to students and their parents. I plan to let my goddaughter, who is a freshman in high school, read it as well.
